2027 Corvette Costs $300 More on Every Trim, With the Stingray Now at $73,795 Including Destination

The increase is the same dollar amount on a $73,000 Stingray and a $227,000 ZR1X, so it is a bigger step at the bottom of the range than at the top.

Key takeaway: Chevrolet raised the price of every 2027 Corvette trim by a flat $300, taking the Stingray to $73,795 and the ZR1X to $227,695, both including the $2,495 destination charge, just a few months after the cars reached dealers.

Chevrolet has added a flat $300 to the price of every 2027 Corvette trim, according to Motor1, which reports that the change is already reflected on Chevrolet's Build and Price page. The prices below include the $2,495 destination charge. The Corvette Stingray moves from $73,495 to $73,795, and the range-topping ZR1X from $227,395 to $227,695.

The full C8 lineup, as listed by Motor1 with June 2026 prices against October 2026 prices: Stingray $73,495 to $73,795; Grand Sport $88,495 to $88,795; Grand Sport X $112,195 to $112,495; Z06 $121,395 to $121,695; ZR1 $197,195 to $197,495; ZR1X $227,395 to $227,695. Because the increase is the same dollar figure everywhere, it works out to about 0.4 percent on the Stingray but only about 0.1 percent on the ZR1X.

For a buyer the practical effect is small. It will not change which trim makes sense: the gap between a Stingray and a Grand Sport is still $15,000, and between a Grand Sport and a Z06 about $32,900. Because the increase is flat, the Stingray, the entry point to the range, absorbs the largest share of it in percentage terms.

Motor1 notes that the move is not out of character. Just a few months after reaching dealers, Chevrolet has tacked another $300 onto 2027 Corvette pricing across the lineup, and General Motors has shifted C8 Corvette pricing more than once within a model year before. A flat, lineup-wide adjustment is the simplest kind to make, because it does not require a decision about which trims can bear an increase.

One cost sits outside the numbers above. Motor1 reports that the Z06 and ZR1X carry a $2,600 gas-guzzler tax, and the Z06 with the Carbon Aero package a further $3,000 on top, neither of which is included in the listed prices. A buyer pricing a Z06 should add that before comparing it with a rival.

Motor1 also lists the standard equipment on the entry 1LT Stingray: an eight-way power seat, leather seats, a 10-speaker Bose audio system, wireless phone charging and a removable roof panel on coupes. None of that changes with the price increase, so the extra $300 buys nothing new on the window sticker.

Chevrolet has not published a reason for the increase in the material reported so far.
